Salvation is God's gracious gift, offered to all people, which we must accept by faith alone. We can never make up for our sin by good works (baptism, communion, etc.). Only by trusting in Jesus Christ alone can we be forgiven for our sin. The moment we turn from our self-ruled life to Jesus, we are saved. It can never be lost or taken away. (Matt 7:22; Jhn 1:12-13; 6:37-40; 10:28-29; Acts 16:31; 2 Cor 5:18-19; Eph 1:7, 13; 2:8-9; Tit 3:5; Gal 2:16)
At salvation the power of sin is broken. Beginning at salvation, God begins to work within believers to make us more like Christ in our actual lives. The Christian life is a process of deepening our relationship with God. (1 Cor 6:11; 2 Cor 3:18; Rom 6:1-8, 39; 1 Thess 5:23; Phil 1:6, 2:13)
You will live for eternity. The question is will you (by faith) spend it with God by trusting in Jesus, or apart from God forever. The decision is up to you. (Jhn 8:24; 17:3,6; Dan 12:2; Matt 25:46; Jhn 5:28-29; 1 Cor 15:51-52; 1 Thess 4:13-14)
The Church is God’s primary method for growing in His truth. God’s primary goal of the church is to make disciples. We demonstrate this through learning to love God and love others. (Matt 26:26-29; 28:18-20; Acts 2:42-47; 1 Cor 3:16-17; 12:27; 2 Cor 6:18; Eph 1:22-23; 3:10; Col 1:18)
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and it is completely trustworthy. It is God’s specific way of communicating to us in all matters of faith. (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Pet 1:20-21)
God the Father is fully God, and He is eternal and personal. He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of all who believe in Christ. (Gen 1:1; Matt 6:9; 2 Cor 1:3; Eph 4:6)
Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, eternally equal with the Father & Holy Spirit. He is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless human life, and offered Himself as the perfect, complete sacrifice for all sins by dying on a cross. He physically rose, and ascended to heaven at the throne of the Father, interceding for us. One day, He will return to earth to reign as King of Kings. (Matt 1:18-25; Jhn 1:1-2, 14; 3:16-18; Acts 1:9-11; Rom 5:8; 1 Cor 15:20; 2 Cor 5:21; Eph 1:20; Phil 2:5-11; Heb 4:14-15; 7:25; 1 Jhn 2:1-2)
The Holy Spirit is eternally equal in deity and person with the Father and the Son. He makes people aware of their need for Jesus Christ, and lives in every Christian at salvation. He unites all Christians and abundantly provides for their spiritual needs. (Jhn 3:3-8; 14:16-17; 16:7-11; Acts 5:3-4; Rom 8:9-11; 1 Cor 2:13; 12:11-13; 2 Pet 1:20-21)
The Trinity teaches God is One, completely, eternally, and fully God existing in three equal persons. (Deut 6:4; Matt 28:19; Jhn 3:21-22; 14:26; 2 Cor 13:14; Eph 4:4-6)

We have begun a new series called “A New Generation”. It is a 6 week series based out of 1st John. The Apostle John wrote this book to encourage a young and new generation of Christians. His desire was not that we become good people, but that we become Christ’s people. Our hope is that we begin this New Year with one passion, to make Christ the center of our lives. LISTEN NOW
