Your family is important to us. We believe church should be a place where children of all ages enjoy learning about God. Every Sunday our Alpine Kids Ministry classes run alongside our regular worship service. Alpine Kids Ministry provides a fun, safe, and age-appropriate place for kids to pursue God. Every volunteer working with children is required to have a background check to protect the safety of our children. We also have cameras in all of our kids areas for the safety of our kids and volunteers.

Age Groups

We divide our kids into five age groups:

  • Nursery Babies (ages 0-1)
  • Nursery Toddlers (ages 2-3)
  • Pre-K (ages 4-5)
  • Kid Zone (ages 6-8)
  • Pre-Teen (ages 9-11)

Check-In Policies

We want parents to rest assured that children are in a safe environment during Sunday worship. They are not permitted to exit the children’s area during the service. Parents are asked to check their children in and out of their classrooms. Parents will receive a paging number for each child. During the service, if your assistance is needed, you will be paged by the children’s staff. The paging screen is located at the top left of the stage in the main auditorium.

Curriculum

Our Pre-K through Pre-Teen classes use The Gospel Project curriculum to teach through the Bible. The curriculum starts at Genesis and guides students through the whole Bible every 3 years. Lessons are slightly different for each age group, so kids will learn about Bible stories in a new way as they progress through the classes. During class, the students will sing songs, complete an activity worksheet, watch a video about that week’s Bible story, discuss the story, have a snack, and play a game. Students may have take-home sheets to review with their parents as a way to involve them in what they are learning. If you have further questions about the curriculum or classes in general, feel free to ask their Sunday teacher or contact Stacy Wall at [email protected].

Stacy Wall

Stacy Wall grew up in West Virginia and became a believer at just 5-years-old. Because she was so young when she accepted the gospel, she is passionate about teaching the kids at ABC about Jesus as well. She believes for the children who soak up these truths, it will lay a solid foundation for their faith that will grow with them as they age into adults.

Stacy started the ABC Kids Ministry at a small picnic table at the church’s first location. Today more than 100 kids hear the gospel every Sunday in our classrooms.
