Exodus 2 - The Making of a Godly Leader
God rescued Moses before he ever used him. That pattern runs straight through Exodus 2. Moses was helpless in a basket, unable to save himself, and God intervened. The same is true for us. Before God works through your life, he works in it. Your own redemption story in Christ is not incidental to your calling. It is the foundation of it.

Exodus is the story of a God who hears, rescues, makes a covenant, and comes to dwell with His people. It opens with slaves crying out in Egypt and ends with the glory of the God filling a tent in the wilderness. It is the original redemption story, and points us ahead to Jesus: our Passover Lamb, the mediator of a better covenant, the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us.
