Reopening Guidelines

Updated 4.8.21 We recognize that this has been a season of many unknowns. It’s our heart’s desire to provide a safe place for you to worship and be encouraged by the truth of God’s word. Here are some general guidelines that ABC has committed to as a safeguard for our church family.

General Guidelines for our Gathering

Safety Measures

The safety of our church members is of utmost importance. Hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the church building. Every area of our church building will be properly sanitized before reopening. In addition, we have implemented sanitizing procedures that will be taking place during and in between our services.

Facemasks and Social Distancing

As we’ve all seen, the policies and recommendations provided by the state of Utah have changed frequently. It’s our desire to honor the requests of the local governing authority as much as it doesn’t impede our ability to worship. Currently, the state has adopted the protocol of the “Utah health guidance levels” policy which can be found at coronavirus.utah.gov. This latest guideline recommends masks for groups larger than 50. This means we are asking all church patrons to please wear a mask. We will not be requiring children in the Nursery & Toddler class to wear a mask, but we ask that other school age children wear one if they are able and free of medical conditions that could be exacerbated by mask-wearing. We will return to full-capacity seating as of 4.11.21.

Alpine Kids

Children’s Ministry will be available for ages 0-11. Our staff will be taking extra measures above and beyond our normal cleaning policies to ensure sanitation of all children’s ministry areas.

Keep Sickness at Home

We are asking that if you are showing any signs of sickness over the past two weeks that you stay home until you are well enough to protect everyone within the church from infection. Please keep children home who are displaying any signs of illness. For the time being, we ask that you use caution with physical contact with those outside your family.

Sensitive Groups

We want to remain sensitive to those who are at high-risk during this time. If you would like to come to church and hear the message from the safety of your car in the church parking lot, we will be broadcasting the services live over 97.1 FM.

Revised Service Times Online Services

To ensure that we have a proper amount of time to sanitize the building between services, we have revised our service times. Our new service start times will be 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings. We will have a livestream of Sunday morning’s first service on YouTube and Facebook at 9:30 AM each week.
